Katharine's current research is on the history and conservation of glass supported photographs. She's traveled to Mexico, England, France and Belgium to conduct this research and to gather information and samples. She's currently in the process of writing up her findings as her thesis for the Advanced Residency Program in Photograph Conservation at the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography in Rochester, NY.
